Introduction:
  • Divide class- [we are the ultimate elites]

Emily (directed toward peasants): So, how does this make you feel? I mean, these people got a much better deal than you did. A cracker is pretty pathetic wouldn’t you say? Doesn’t it make you want to go over to them and snatch that candy right out of their undeserving hands? I mean why shouldn’t you? What did you ever do to deserve this unjustified treatment? That’s right- nothing. [remember you’re trying to stir up resentment!]

Kalie (directed toward rich): Now you, the rich, you must be feeling pretty pleased with yourselves. After all you got the much better end of the deal. Candy over a cracker? Who wouldn’t go for that? Go ahead and eat it! Savor the sweetness and the angry looks of your lower classmates. But ah, since you’ve got that you won’t mind if we *gestures to us the elites* savor this. *tosses big bag of candy over shoulder, taunts people with it- you know, do your thing* BALLER LIFE

AL (looking at everyone):Ooooo what’s that in your eyes...is that...greed I see? You aren’t satisfied with what you have are you? You want more. Well believe it or not you all are not the first to be victims of this contagious, disagreeable feeling. Once upon a distant land, there lived your typical poor woodcutter. He had a step-wife and two young children, a boy named Hansel and a girl named Gretel. They all lived rather well together until famine struck the land. Scared for her own well-being the wicked step-mother urged her husband to abandon his children in the forest in order to ration food.

Paige: [sarcastic] Now the woodcutter dearly loved his children so, he argued with his wife for about a solid minute before meeking submitting to her womanly persistence and agreeing to her evil scheme. Hansel thwarted the first abandonment attempt by leaving a trail of gleaming white pebbles as they walked into the forest. But by being exposed to evil through his step-mother, Hansel was forced to become sneaky and deceiving- he literally began dropping his purity as he dropped the shining pebbles. The second time the children were led into the woods Hansel used breadcrumbs to mark their trail. Instead of just depending on the food for subsistence he was literally depending on it to save his and Gretel’s lives.

Emily: Alas the free birds of the forest ate the crumbs before nightfall and took away the children’s chance at easy freedom. Nature was not making this any easier. The children were on the brink of starvation when they came upon a house made completely of bread and sugar. It belonged to a old woman who immediately brought them inside. [sarcastic] Thank goodness for kind strangers with such an exorbitant amount of food that they can live in it! And in the middle of a famine no less!

Kalie: Right. A kind stranger. More like a cannibalistic witch with no morals. Even after she had all that food she still wanted more and more until she sunk to devouring human life. Her red eyes hindered her from seeing her own evil actions- she was blinded by her own unspeakable greed. Her plan was to cook Hansel and Gretel and eat them, but Gretel managed to trick the hag and push her into her own oven. The oven acted as a cleanser- all the witch’s wickedness and demonic qualities were burned away.

AL: Gretel quickly released the joyful Hansel. But were they satisfied with simply being alive and together? Of course not! Greed is contagious. Even to the innocent souls of children. Before leaving the witch’s house Hansel and Gretel gleefully looted it of the pearls and gems they had discovered while poking around.Their satisfaction came through material wealth- greed was not abolished in the defeat of the witch- it was only passed on. Only after they had grabbed handfuls of jewels did they consider leaving the evil witch’s lair.

Paige: The children eventually made their way back to their father’s cottage. Yes, the father that abandoned them not once but twice without any attempt to rescue them. Conveniently the wicked step-mother had died and now it was just the woodcutter and his precious children. Overjoyed, the children embraced their father and proudly presented the jewels they had taken. 90 And of course, now that the lowly woodcutter had enough riches to become a wealthy man, was free from his nagging wife, and had his loyal children back, they all lived happily ever after.
For now...

TUNNEL PRESENTATION
Emily steals all riches because she is mega-elite.
Emily: Oh wasn’t that lovely. But you see, riches don’t last. *begins taking our riches* You aren’t promised to be an elite forever. But once you’ve been exposed to the height of comfort there’s no going back. You’ll do whatever it takes to get what you want. Like this wannabe. *gestures to AL* Not a dollar to her name. But her greed creates a deep set determination that will quickly change that.
  1. Anna Llegan goes through

Emily: The once powerless peasant now has all the power he could possibly dream of. But is he satisfied? Does he stop there? Of course not, he doesn’t want anyone to have what he doesn’t.
b. Kalie kills Paige (STAGE FIGHT), takes food and money, looks pleased
Emily: (At the end)
Ah, he had it all, money, jewels, power, and a beautiful wife, if I do say so myself. But, soon after we were married he died. Mysteriously.
Kalie: Wait what??
Emily: Shhh, don’t interrupt me. He died, and no one really knows how it happened…
Kalie: *looks suspiciously at Emily* *notices candy* Aw look what my wife left me. *eats chocolate* *collapses* *carries on* *keeps dying* *dies* *crown drops*
Emily: *smirks* Thats right. No one knows at all. *picks up crown* *evil look* *cackles*
